Simon began kitchen fitting and associated building works... many moons ago!

Simon and Tom take great pride in working to the highest standard, and spending time with customers to ensure that they deliver exactly what customers want. They provide free non-obligatory estimates and are available for free, friendly, helpful and professional advice.

Over the years Simon and Tom have developed a team of known and trusted contractors and professionals to assist them, including; 'Gas Safe' registered plumbers (Tout Plumbing & Heating) and ELECSA 'Part P' registered electricians (Drew & Sons). For building regulation compliance they use Exeter City Council Building Control, and for any structural engineering work Devon Valley Design Ltd - all of whom are suitably qualified in their respective disciplines, fully insured, friendly and reliable - so whatever the problem, Simon and Tom or one of their team, will be able to sort it! Relevant certification / documentation is always issued at the end of any works carried out.

Tom started his formal building career working for a commercial construction company in New Zealand.  He remained with them for 8 years managing unusual large scale projects such as  a new orangutan enclosure at the Zoo, a hospital sky bridge and earthquake refurbishment of a historical theatre.  

Due to the bespoke nature of these projects he has developed a keen eye for detail and quality, which he can bring to your home. Tom also has extensive experience in, concrete, commercial fitouts, and structural alterations due to the seismic activity in New Zealand!

The kitchen is the heart of the home and having it pulled apart and put together again has the potential to be traumatic. In my case, my renovation involved stripping the walls back to brick, blocking up a doorway and constructing a completely new kitchen to my own exacting but imperfectly measured design. All this in a very small house where I remained on site for the duration. Simon's project management skills ensured the deliveries turned up on schedule, as did his small team of experienced and pleasant trades people.
